DISCHARGING EPA RECIRCULATING SANDFILTER RATIO BOX
Recirculating Sandfilter meeting EPA design recommendations. A ratio box will recirculate a defined percentage of diluted effluent over the sand to optimize nitrogen removal and to maximize quality of treated effluent for dispersal. Separate pump tanks for recirc and final dose are provided. |

DISCHARGING EPA RECIRCULATING SANDFILTER RECIRC. VALVE
In many States under the NPDES Discharging Regulations for Single Family Dwellings, a Recirculation Sandfilter meeting EPA design recommendations may be used for discharge to an all weather stream, or an approved intermittent stream or dry ditch channel. A recirc ball type bypass valve will continually recirculate diluted effluent over the sand to maximize treatment and odor control. |
