Overview

Submersible hydrostatic level transducers are designed to meet the rigorous environments encountered in liquid level measurement and control. They can be configured to perform to specifications under the most adverse, reactive conditions. Transducers utilize a highly accurate pressure sensor assembly designed explicitly for hostile fluids and gases.

Features

  • Custom Level Ranges up to 700 ft (210 m) H2O
  • Accuracy of up to ±0.05%
  • Analog Outputs of 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC or mV
  • Welded 316 SS or Titanium Construction
  • Optional Lifetime Lightning Protection
  • Optional Temperature Measurement Output

Applications

  • Well Monitoring
  • Lift Stations
  • Slug Tests
  • Level Control
  • Ground Water Monitoring
  • Pump Control
  • Oceanographic Research
  • Surface Water Monitoring
  • Soil Remediation

Construction

These units are designed for installation in Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D, Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F and G, Class III, Division 1 hazardous location when connected to appropriate apparatus. The transducers are type approved by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), are UL, CUL, and FM approved, have a IP 68 and NEMA 6P housing protection rating, and are CE compliant to EN 61000-6-4:2001 and EN 61000-6-2:2001

  • Housing

The assembly is integrated with supporting electronics in a durable waterproof housing constructed of stainless steel or titanium.

  • Cabling

The attached electrical cabling is designed to protect against the elements and to prevent measuring errors due to cable elongation. The cabling includes a unique water block feature that self-seals in the event of accidental cuts to the cable.

  • Filter

Each transducer comes standard with a vent filter that prevents moisture from entering the vent tube for at least one year without maintenance, even in the most humid environments.
